Competition
Task: Design a sideboard that interprets the values and identity of Porada, leading brand of Italian design, through the creation of innovative concepts for different types of sideboards and cupboards, in which the use of solid wood is prevalent (but not necessarily exclusive).

Concept: Inspired by minimalistic forms, this sideboard has a strong brushed brass cantilever structure which supports the durable countertop whilst creating the Illusion that the heavy object defines gravity which is achieved due to the contrast of the delicate legs. The multifunctional sideboard contains a draw and a disguised compartment at the end of the countertop. It works perfectly for those looking for a sleek, elegant piece of furniture for the less spacious area.
