ST. MARTINS AT PLACE

Client: St Martins at Place

Brief: Churches across the country close each year as they are no longer needed for worship. These spaces present a wide variety of challenges and opportunities for designers to find imaginative ways to reuse these buildings. Through the focus of adapting, reusing, and improving, I designed a disability community centre called HERE I AM. It is about supporting people with learning disabilities, connecting them and their families with the community.

Includes: sensory area, workshop rooms, meeting areas, cafe, and kitchen.
